Message from the Clinical Director / Dr. Rodrigo Costa e Silva

When in October 2010 I accepted the challenge of becoming clinical Director, my decision had two main goals:

First to help the company in the management of health insurance and health plans that needs medical know-how to achieve efficiently the Company's goals.

Secondly to execute the first mission using communication with the other areas of the Organization and with external partners, insurance companies, hospital, doctors and finally with the main costumer of our work, the insured person or beneficiary.

The mission isn't easy when there are conflicting interests between the Organization and service providers.
Therefore the definition of guidelines based in the best clinical practices which are largely accepted by the Medical and Scientific community is crucial.

To achieve what I referred earlier I have the collaboration of a clinical executive team and specialized consultants that, whith me, work in the definition of some rules and in the daily solution of the clinical cases.

Finally, I would like to remember that the team will always be transparent, giving a face to the decision making process.
We will try that the majority have the aggreement of all the stake holders, being the rules of financing and communication fundamental guidelines of our activity.
