Presently, the Wellness Provider Network has more than 1400 practice, selected and certified by AdvanceCare, offering about 21 specialities between complementary medical services, services in the area of physical and psychological welfare, genetics, maternity and other services.
The Wellness Provider Network appeared in AdvanceCare’s portfolio as a response to the trend in the health & wellness market, but also as a mean to ensure the access of the Insured Persons to a number of specialities that, as a rule, are excluded from health insurance.
Presently, the Wellness Provider Network has more than 1400 practice, selected and certified by AdvanceCare, offering about 21 specialities between complementary medical services, services in the area of physical and psychological welfare, genetics, maternity and other services.
After detecting the need to stimulate consumption among the Insured Persons and to promote all the benefits associated to this product, AdvanceCare is developing a number of initiatives, namely as follows:
· The change of name from “Complementary Services Network” to “Wellness Provider Network” to make the scope of the product immediately perceptible by the Insured Person.
· Guiding the Insured Person, through our Contact Center, in the use of the Wellness Provider Network, for instance suggesting a medical consultation of a speciality excluded from his/her health insurance.
· The association of the Wellness Provider Network to the new management solutions developed by AdvanceCare.
· The engagement of new specialities for widening the scope of services which are relevant for the everyday life and for the well-being of the Insured Person (for instance: home services).
· Restructuring AdvanceCare’s website with a new image associated to the concept of wellness, but retaining the possibility to view the specialities available and carrying the identification and the addresses of the Network Providers.
· The integration of specific questions about this service in the Clients Satisfaction Survey, namely questions about the knowledge of how to access this network and about the services available, about the quality of the services provided and also about their overall satisfaction with the Well-Being Network.
· The integration, in the Provider Satisfaction Survey, of questions relating with the level of satisfaction in respect of AdvanceCare and with the eligibility procedure, amongst others.
· The development of measures in the eligibility procedure in the sense of making it mandatory for all providers. This procedure enables the possibility of gaining actual knowledge about the use of the Network by the Insured Person and thereby monitoring the services used.
· The design and development of a leaflet to be sent to the Insured Persons who signed the service, in the sense of making them aware of the scope of the services offered by the Wellness Provider Network and of explaining how easily they can access them.
Also from a product development standpoint, AdvanceCare will continue to promote the growth thereof not only in terms of membership numbers, but also in terms of the services most prized by the Insured Person, thereby enabling its differentiation in the Portuguese health care and wellness market.
